Having trained and worked in the New England area, Joe has a tenacity for achieving the highest standards of work in the industry. Having owned and operated his own businesses, Joe understands the entire sales to installation process and the power of referrals from satisfied clients.
Joe brings a wealth of regional knowledge and experience to the team. Known for his problem-solving and unparalleled customer service abilities, Joe believes that customer satisfaction is the key to the company’s success. Continuing to be a vital part of the company’s growth and development of the business model and vision, Joe purchased the company in 2020 and is excited to further build up the company as one of the Suncoast’s leading remodeling businesses.
When Joe isn’t logging long hours scheduling, managing staff, and overseeing internal processes, he spends his free time enjoying the Florida outdoors and fishing.

Dawn joined us with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Florida State University. She has over 20 years of experience in accounting and human resources in various fields that include the construction and design industry. She is a proud mother of two daughters and a proud grandmother with two grandchildren. When she isn’t crunching numbers, Dawn enjoys traveling, music concerts, and antique shopping.

With a degree in Architecture and over 15 years of experience in the industry, Rich has a proven track record of designing exceptional spaces that exceed client expectations. Rich’s expertise extends to a variety of areas, including interior architectural design, custom and European cabinet specification, AutoCAD, 2020, and Sketch Up. He is well-versed in the latest design software and tools, allowing him to bring ideas to life and create stunning visuals for clients.
Having worked in kitchen and bath and cabinet companies as a designer in Sarasota, North Port, and New England, Rich has a deep understanding of the industry and is always up to date on the latest trends and techniques. He has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in delivering projects that are not only beautiful but also functional and practical.

Renata is a highly skilled and experienced designer, born and raised in the picturesque heart of Europe. The stunning architecture of Prague inspired her love of design and art, leading her to pursue a degree in interior design in New York. Since then, Renata has spent over 15 years working for prominent design and architectural firms, including catering to the high-end residential market in the Hamptons.
Renata’s focus on residential, high-end kitchen and bath design makes her an expert in creating spaces that are both functional and beautiful. Her approach is to work closely with clients to understand their vision and then combine ingenuity, imagination, and creativity to design a space that feels uniquely fresh, serene, and relaxed.
In her free time, Renata enjoys spending time at the beach with her two children, who share her love of the outdoors and the beauty of the natural world. Renata’s passion for design, coupled with her deep commitment to family, make her a dedicated and talented designer who brings a fresh and innovative perspective to every project she takes on.

A transplant from the Philadelphia area, Jerry Schanz was originally recruited as lead carpenter. Jerry began his career working for his father’s home remodeling business, installing trim, doors, windows, baths, and high-end kitchens. He then moved onto commercial carpentry, learning the production side of construction, and lastly forming his own company and honing his craft of custom kitchens and baths. Jerry’s eye for detail has helped him guide his customers to achieving their final vision.
After seven years of self-employment and annual vacations to Sarasota, Jerry and his family decided to make their Florida dream a reality. After hours, Jerry enjoys an active lifestyle often taking his son and wife to the beach to watch the beautiful Florida sunsets.
Born and raised in Norwalk, CT, Kyle came down to Florida when he was 11 years old. Kyle grew up around sawdust, assisting his father every once in a while with his projects. Thinking he would try and break away from the family business, Kyle became a chef. That worked well for him for about five years following high school, but the sawdust in his veins brought him back to the family business.
Kyle started as a delivery driver and worked his way up to now one of our project managers. When he’s not devoting his time to ensuring your project is exceeding your expectations, he is out on two wheels with the wind in his face on his Harley.

After working as an administrative assistant in the field of military brokerage and financial planning, Theresa brings her customer service and administrative skills to the company. Mother of three grown children, she’s learning to embrace the “empty nest” and enjoys the view from her seat on the back of a Harley.
Theresa is an avid reader and loves travel, museums, art galleries, music, exploring wildlife, going to beach, and photography.

A native of Sarasota, Pablo has worked in the digital marketing field for various local companies following a four-year stint at WSNN as producer and director and ultimately Production Manager before joining the Cabex Team. Wanting to change direction from television, he set his sights on digital marketing and social media management. He brings his knowledge of marketing, business, copy editing, and videography with his Entertainment Business degree from Full Sail University. You’ll see Pablo out at your site during your project’s process taking before, during, and after photos and videos with the designers.
Outside of work, Pablo enjoys going to the gym, watching 1950s and 1960s TV shows, and has his sights set on being an author, currently focusing on writing his debut contemporary fiction series.
